Hi all

System : debian testing/apache/mysql/php/ezp3.6.0

I have a big cache setup problem in my ezp system. On my production sites, i have all cache parameters on in the site.ini but when i modify or add a content nothing appears on the public website. So i have to clear all content cache (for thousand of content objects) by hand each time i add or modify any content !!!

I'am shure its not the right way to do it but when i read the doc about this issue (or the comments in the site.ini) it says that even with cache on, content added or modified should appear on the website.

Can someone tell me how to setup ezp to take advantage of the cache system and in the same time be able it to display modified or added contents without clearing all cache.

Thank in advance,
Martin

Thanx for the message but we misunderstood each other.

I have no problem seeing the added or modified contents in the admin. My problem is that those contents doesn't appear in the public site when cache is "on"...until i clear all "content cache".

So everytime i add contents in the admin, i have to clear all site content cache to make those available in the public site.

My question is how can i remove only the cache of the parent class, or only the cache of the modified content...etc

I had similar problems on one site. You could try something disabling the NodeTreeCache, and enable all other caching. Something like that worked for me.

NodeTreeCache is disabled by default and i didn't touched it.
For exemple : What are the ezp cache setup for the ez.no website ?
I am shure you don't clear all site's cache when somebody publish a new content.

Thanks Lukasz Serwatka !!! Your where right about you answser...it works now.
