I've created a role that enables a person to create/edit and remove a certain class from his section. As an added bonus, I've also added the policy: content edit Class( Folder ) , Section( Standard section ) This enables this person to also change the priority of the folders in the Standard Section.
I then found out that there was a problem placing related objects in articles placed in his section. When trying to place the related object (clicking on select after making the selection), I was thrown back to the frontpage (no error message shown), and the related object was not linked to the article.
After quite some time debugging, I found out that by removing the 'bonus' policy, this problem had disappeared. After playing around some more, I also found out that the problem disappeared by including another policy (to also be able to create/remove folders in the Standard Section).
Now I can't really see how being able to add/create or remove folders in a whole different section of the site should have any influence on placing a related object in an article.
Can anybody else? TIA, Vivienne
