hi all,

i have an article whereby guests can view the comments and "Add new comment" button on the bottom of the page.

Guests have to login if he wants to give his comment.

the problem is, after the user logs in, there is an error message:

Access denied
You don't have permission to access this area.

Possible reasons for this is.

Your current user does not have the proper privileges to access this page.
You misspelled some parts of your URL, try changing it.

i have already set the roles to
content create Class( Comment ) , ParentClass( Article )
content read Class( Comment )

may i know if there is something i missed out? thanks.

Hi,

Try to had content edit rights too.

Creating a new object is a thing.

Being able to edit it (filling fields in fact) after creation is one other. :)

How do you go about to allow an article have comments?

ttkt ttkt: I saw that you were asking in another thread how to add comments and now it seems you found out. I am wondering the same thing - did you find some text explaining how to do this?

Hi Christian Johansen

If you are using standard eZ publish class then

IF you go to article object, try to edit the object
At the bottom you will see on check box to enable the comment for that object,

Just check that and re publish the object after that it must be possible to add comment to article.
