I get this message when I click on the register tab on my site:
Object is unavailable The object you requested is not currently available. Possible reasons for this are: * The id or name of the object was misspelled, try changing it. * The object is no longer available on the site.
How can I resolve this?

Check a direct link /user/register i.e. www.mydomain.com/user/register if this does not work then it may be that the anon user does not have rights to register for some reason.
hope this helps

Lessons to learn with eZ
- Get good at not simply doing something with eZ but doing again and again. - Experience and strength in eZ comes from delivering repeatable results. - Focus on planning to do something from scratch instead of building a single solution. - Get good at installing eZ Publish over and over and over again. - Run several stock installations for development and testing. - Never Give In, Never Give Up ...- With dedication and practice the specific results you seek will be found by you.

Ok for some reason maybe when i tried it in my firefox, maybe even though I wasn't logged in, cookies might have prevented me from registering.
I tried it with IE and was allowed to register, so there is no problem, thanks again for your help.

Running 4.0.0
Registration will work in IE7, but I get this error in Firefox 2.0.0.11. Not additional information from debug other than:
Object not found (158)Error ocurred using URI: /index.php/lvdive/user/register
Since the exact same link does work in IE7 I know that it is browser related. Having the user clear cache, etc. is not a viable option since that would negate true cross browser functionality of the software and the website.
Is there anything I can do to fix? Is this a possible bug?
Thanks!

I got the same problem.
It´s not possible to make a registration in a old Ez Publish installation version 4.1.3, using Firefox 4.0.1. All other functions are working fine.
Although it is possible to do it using IE, Google Chrome (for windows 7 and Andoid), Safari and older versions of Firefox.
Any idea on how to fix it?
