Upgrade 3.2-3 to 3.3-4 and most of the images disappeared

I upgraded from 3.2-2 to 3.3-4 and the site works fine, except for one thing, many of the images are gone/does not show. I have read the http://ez.no/ez_publish/download/changelogs/ez_publish_3_3/new_image_system and poked the forums, but I cannot see any reason why the images should not be there.

I guess something is broken regarding the new image system vs the old one. Adding new images (or re-adding missing ones) works fine.

Does anyone have an idea on how we "in a flash" can get the old images working again? The still live in the filessystem (and in the database)...

Don't you have to change the templates? I can't remember exactly, because it was so long ago now. Post an example of how your templates display the images and maybe I (or someone else) can help.

No, you do not have to change the templates, and the images are missing in the admin-interface also.

Should I be chocked that any1 from eZ has not bothered to reply yet?

Not really, they kind of pop in every now and then, but the forums don't come with a guarantee of an answer - Community supported.

As for your problem, my only suggestions would be to enable debug and install a test version of ez with the gallery demo site. This will allow you to do a few things:

a) Find out what error messages are associated with your problems (assuming you haven't already enabled debug)
b) You could then compare your site to the gallery, to see what you're doing differently.
c) You could tell for sure that this wasn't some other problem (I can't think what) with imagemagick.

Hope I was some help :)

James
