Hi all!

After moving a site, when trying to go to the admin interface I get this message:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: mb_strlen() in /home/askillvoll/ezpublish-3.5.2/var/gallery/cache/template/compiled/page_toppath-76cb1c2553c8fa9221aafd8281873a69.php on line 238
Fatal error: eZ publish did not finish its request

Any ideas anyone?

Hi all (again)!

I tried to do a ./bin/shell/clearcache.sh --clear-all. But "nothing" happend. Then I went to the folder specified in the error message, and it was stuffed with compiled files like e.g. 76cb1c2553c8fa9221aafd8281873a69.php. I wiped them all out, and now things work.

One wonders why --clear-all doesn't get rid of all cached files..

Hi Felix,

After moving a site you have to set right permissions to var, settings and design dirs and var/cache, var/(site)/cache dirs should be empty. Try to clear them manualy. Check also if this problem isn`t realted to PHP accelerator runnig on your server. Database settings should be also change to correct.
