Static Caching Question

I would like that Static Caching will be proceeded automatically every time when content of some article will be changed/updated/created.

To configure Caching I followed directions given in the documentation. I've been testing it and although caching works fine, it seems that it doesn't update a static content after changes to articles will be done.

Are there any configurations options that are not mentioned in the Static Caching Documentation?
