Hi there,
I've just installed the new release 4.2.0 and everything works fine beside the picutes. I had to swich off the ImageMagick support for hosting reasons but GD2 is enabled.
Its a bit strange: If I upload an image to the Media Library (the picture is visible in the backend) Now I create an article and include the picture out of the library. The picture is visible inside the article in the backend but not on the frontend - there is only the written alt tag and a comment <b>'You don't have the permission to view this object'</b> ... BUT: If upload a picture from out of the article directly it works!?!? I mean the upload option not using the RTE.
I've added 'content -> view_embed' to all roles but I am using the admin account anyway.
I browsed the whole web and several forums without success -- please help me!
Thanks!

found a solution by myself:-> It's necessary to add content -> <i>view_embed</i> to the <b>anonymous</b> role.
That's all.
