Hi,
what happens, when I install ez 3.2 with the wizard and select an existing DB, which has data in it?
I can select "leave data and add new", for example.
I expect, that this will dump and existing ez3 DB-tables and re-create them as needed, but will not touch OTHER (non-ez3)-Tables.
Is this correct?
I want to install 3.2-2 or -3 into a directory, which holds a 3.2-1 installation and use the same DB, that ez3.2-1 uses.
But I want "clean" ez3-Tables (using the package data, that I need).
But- as the DB also holds ez2-Tables, which I need to migrate into ez3 later, i don't want, that the wizard drops these ez2-tables.
Of course, I can dump and reimport the ez2-tables, but if I don't need to do this, I scan skip this (slow) step. So: How can I keep the non-ez3-tables?

Hi The "leave data and add new" only add the data needed for the 3.2 installation. If you have a previous 3.x installation in the database, it'll be corrupted. A 3.x installation will not affect the 2.2, but if you later want to upgrade the 2.2, you'll need a new database. If you have any suggestions for new options when a database contains data, please let us know.
