When I try to see the setup/info page, I always get an error message:
Unexpected error, the message was : <Linux system info reader>: can't scan OS for system values. in /usr/share/php/ezc/SystemInformation/system/readers/info_linux.php on line 93
I'm using eZ 4.1.3 and I tried eZ Components 2009.1 and 2009.1.1 too. There is a Gentoo Linux 5.2.10 on the server.
Any idea? I'm a dumb or is it a bug?...

I'm having the exact same problem. Also using EZP 4.1.3 and the EZComponents it came bundled with.
The path named in the error is slightly different: lib/ezc/SystemInformation/src/system/readers/info_linux.php
(note the src directory)
Has anyone got any idea what causes this problem?TIA for any help...

Can the user that the webserver runs under read both: /proc/cpuinfo and /proc/meminfo ?

No, in my hosting environment both those files belong to root and are only readable by root. Is this something I should take up with my provider then?

No, we need to handle the exception thrown by ezc in eZ Publish. So a eZ Publish bug.
