I have set up the paypal workflow/trigger successfully but seem to have a problem when paypal redirects me back to my site. Once I pay and paypal redirects to the checkout script I get the following message:
"Waiting for a response from the payment server. This can take some time."
After 3 refreshes it then displays
"We did not get a confirmation from the payment server"
Is there something extra in the paypal setup I have to do?
Would be grateful for any ideas
many thanks

sorry folks - school boy error on my behalf!
had the site password protected (as I am testing) - hence the callback couldn't authenticate.
removed it and it worked ok

depends on your hosting provider - if you don't use the cpanel feature you'll have to look for a .htaccess and .htpasswd file and remove them both.
Paypal callback url goes to /shop/checkout so you must make sure that nothing from that directory upwards is password protected otherwise the callbacl url will not be able to authenticate and then will fail.
I have created a paypal subrscription extension by aletring the one provided by ez. Once I get it working I will post it up
hope that helps
