I tried to install the bundled version of ez publish, but I receive the following error:'bash: ./install.sh: /bin/bash/: bad interpreter: permission denied'. I am logged on as root. Is e-smith even capable of installing / running ezpublish ? I'm no linux guru by any means so any help would be appreciated. Also, I have tried booting from the liveCD, the cd boots but takes me to a shell. I was under the impression that an installer/wizard should start up? Thanks again, j
kracker (the)	Tuesday 03 May 2005 11:44:38 pm Jared, Make sure that your linux distribution provides the eZ publish Requirements http://www.ez.no/ez_publish/info/requirements_for_ez_publish At a glance I would wager that your version of e-smith SME server (v6.0) does not support (out of the box) the required version of php. I believe since it's rpm based you should be able to upgrade your server to support the required php. Hi

Jared,

Make sure that your linux distribution provides the eZ publish Requirements

http://www.ez.no/ez_publish/info/requirements_for_ez_publish

At a glance I would wager that your version of e-smith SME server (v6.0) does not support (out of the box) the required version of php.

I believe since it's rpm based you should be able to upgrade your server to support the required php.

This is just a suggestion, the rest of the errors you mention appear to stem from other causes ...
