Hello all,
eZ publish is great piece of sw, but I still have one problem. It was discussed several time on this forum, but was always throwen away as a slow hardware issue. But I do not believe this - it must be something else.
On my PC (900MHz Celeron, >300MB RAM, WinXP) tooks last step of installation more than one minute!!! This can not happen anyhow. I tried several CMS, some of them very complicated, but the response was not more that few seconds anytime. So I decided to try installation on the web. But also on web server (which is several times more powerfull than my PC) it tooks more than minute to reach succesfull installation. When I choose slovak language to install with english, installation is not possible (I am not allowed to change timeout on server).
So, what do you think? Any advice? Thanks a lot and sorry for my english.

On the last step eZ publish compiles templates and create a language cache, but it should not take more than 30-60 seconds. Which eZ publish version did you try? Have you tested it with the lastest 3.4.1?
