Installation on IIS with Virtual Directory

Folks,

I have successfully installed eZ Publish on a Windows 2000 Server, which had already been running solid implemenations of mySql and PHP. Manually installing the system was not painful, and I appreciated the built-in checks that were provided.

I have created a Virtual Directory, EZtest, which is directly below my root directory: www.myhome.org/EZtest.

I copied all the files into this directory, created a new database, and executed the SQL script to load the demo data.

I edited "site.ini.append.php" to ensure that the database connectivity was correct. I also saw that:

SiteURL=www.myhome.org/EZtest/index.php/user

This was enough to make me go, "Hmmm."

When I load www.myhome.org/EZtest/index.php a very nice looking page appeared. But then there were PHP errors that were corrected when I added the path to the "lib" folder to the "include_path" variable in PHP.INI.

When I reloaded the page, it was even more beautiful, and there were no errors. However, every link on the page is in the form:

www.myhome.org/EZtest/index.php/demo/xxx

where xxx is some character string.

Clicking on such a link results in a page that gives this PHP-generated error message:

Warning: Unknown(N:\Websites\EZtest\index.php\demo\content\view\full\26\): failed to create stream: No such file or directory in Unknown on line 0

The directory is the physical path, by the way. In this particular case, xxx = "content\view\full\26\."

QUESTION: What is happening? Have I missed a step?

QUESTION: What is the solution or work-around?

Thanks in advance for all suggestions.
