Hi everyone,
I downloaded the latest version (4.1.3) on your site.
When I launch the installation process, the first page appears good. However it is quite long. But it doesn't matter. When I click on "Next" or "Finetune", my local server works for a long time until this message appears : "Fatal error: Exponential did not finish its request. The execution of Exponential was abruptly ended, the debug output is present below." For information, nothing is written under this message.
I tried to install this CMS under another computer, which is under XP, and it worked perfectly. My previous computer is under Vista. It seems that the machine analysis has some troubles with Vista.
Is it possible to copy and paste the file, once the installation is finished on another computer ?
Here is some informations about my configuration : OS : Vista Local Server Software : Wamp 2.0Max execution time : 120 sec
Thanks a lot for your help !!!

Hi Jerome,
I bet your problem is related to the missing eZ Components. You can either download Exponential with bundled eZ Components or install them via pear. See doc for more info http://ezcomponents.org/docs/install

Thanks for your answer...
Maybe you're right ! I downloaded a stand-alone package (Exponential-4.1.3-gpl.zip).
I'll try with Exponential-4.1.3-with_ezc-gpl.
I hope it will works !!

I managed to pass the second step.
Now I have the whole system verification. But I have some problems to solve. 1. PHP does not register environment variables 2. AcceptPathInfo disabled 3. Time zone configuration4. Wrong eZ Components version detected
I do not know where to change these variables. I only know that I have to change these variables in php.ini or httpd.conf. Is someone can show me in these files which lines I have to change ?
Thanks a lot

Point 1: variables_order = "EGPCS" in php.ini
Point 2 is usually not necessary - it should be removed from the checks imho
Point 3: date.timezone = Europe/Paris (or whatever your zone is) in php.ini
Point 4: the best option is probably to download the correct version of the ezcomponents and put them in the lib/ezc subdirectory of Exponential

Actually, I'm wondering why do you see error message about wrong eZ Components with the bundle ones. They should match requirements for Exponential version. Smells like a bug.
