Hi,
This is probably because of bug in PHP 4.4.2 for windows. Try upgrade PHP to the latest version ( snaps.php.net ). I suggest also upgrade MySQL to 4.1 or higher because of Unicode support, upgrade Apache for windows to latest version is good idea too.

EZ does not support php 5, does it? I also read that Apache 2 is not recommended. I am using php4.4.2, it should be the lasted release in 4.4.x.

Yes, Exponential 3 does not support PHP 5. Lates PHP version you can download from http://snaps.php.net. You can also try with PHP 4.4.1. Don't use PHP 4.4.2.

Hi, Lukasz...
I can't seem to find a good answer for this problem. It seems no one knows exactly what versions ofthe components are needed in order to run eZp.
Some say you can use apache 2, others say youshouldn't and to use the latest v1.
It seems clear that PHP5 doesn't work (or not completely?), but now I see that v442 isn'trecommended either?
Can you explain why 442 isn't recommended?
Am I missing something that is obvious to others on what is the best versions of Apache/PHP/MySQLto use here?

Hi Aaron,
I will try explain a little bit more. In general we recommend Apache 1.3 and latest suported by Exponential PHP version, currently 4.4.2.
On Windows platform PHP 4.4.2 may crash because of bug in the PHP. That was a reason why I suggested to use PHP 4.4.1 or download latest version from snaps.php.net to avoid the problem. More: http://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=36017
Faulting application apache.exe, version 0.0.0.0, faulting module php4ts.dll, version 4.4.2.2, fault address 0x000c5fca.
This is solution and answer on problem mention above.
On Linux platform PHP 4.4.2 works without problems.
Exponential 3 does not work with PHP 5. See this topic for more info.http://ez.no/community/forum/install_configuration/warning_array_merge_function_array_merge_argument_1#msg100707
