Hi all,

How to import or export a class definition from one database to another ?

For example, I create a class FAQ to manage a FAQ session. I want copy this class definition to other databases.

thanks

There will be import/export using an XML format, but it's not prioritized at the moment, we will finish up the features for 3.0 and stabilize it.

I thought the xml import/export was geared towards objects (data) only, but I may (hope to) be wrong.

The method outlined by Bård Farstad to have multiple hosts on the same installation may be a solution: the same database is used for different sites.

xml import/export will cover more than just objects, exactly what we will incorporate is not clear yet but at least classes will be added (since they are important for objects).
