i dont know what is the problem, when i get to the step of registering the site no meter what i choose, after 10-20 seconds i get error server 500 and if i refresh the page i get the installation from the start again. need your help as soon as you can.thank you

Which method did you use--host, port, or uri? Did permissions get fixed properly during the install process? Which version of eZ Publish are you using? What is the setting in php.ini for maximum execution time?
You can get the installer to run again by putting this in site.ini.append.php in the [SiteAccessSettings] section:
CheckValidity=true
