Hello, I haven't been able to find anything about this, but maybe someone has some experience with it.

We have an installation of 3.8 (3.8.8 to be exact) that we wish to set up a blog for. The blog functionality in ezwebin seems much improved from the weblog on 3.8, so I wanted to try to install the ezwebin packages into my 3.8.8 area. But I ran into numerous problems, to the extent that I reverted my installation and kept ezwebin out. I was getting classes and attributes with blank names and so on. Too much trouble to continue with.

However I still would like to try to use the blog functionality. It seems like I could take the necessary classes and templates from a 3.9 install and set them up on 3.8.8. This was the suggestion from eZ support too. I was wondering if anyone has any experience using any of the ezwebin functionality on 3.8. Did it work with the keywords too?

By the way I know one solution would be to upgrade to 3.9, we are just not ready to do that yet however, although I do want to make sure that down the road we can upgrade without this causing problems.

Thank you...
