Hi!

Is eZpublish team willing to disclose the hardware & software information (config/settings) about the ez.no website. I really wish to know what is needed to run such a website.

I don't know if there was already a post about this topic but since there isn't any advanced search, it's pretty hard to get good results with the word "ez.no". In case there is one, please point it out to me - thanks

/Marco

Hi Marc,

It is certainly a good question and I think one that has come up several times before, not to mention there are much larger sites than ez.no utilising eZ Publish and looking at how to scale and performance management their deployments.

If you search through the forums you will find a multitude of threads covering different aspects of performance management, and I believe there were a number of articles posted on the ez.no website awhile back dealing with performance management for filesystems, mysql, ez publish, clustering, etc.

Obviously some things have changed since those articles were posted and new methods have been discovered/implemented but it is a good place to start.

If you are looking at any larger scale deployments it is probably a good idea to have a discussion with an eZ Team member or one of the Gold partners within your area who can likely consult on how to proceed with your deployment.

Regards,
Andrew.
