Hello all

When opening Ez Publish I get the Error 'Anonymous User not found, returning NoUser'. I don't understand how this could after using EZ PUblish the minutes before with no problems logging on at all....

When I try to edit "Configure user account setting" for the anonymous user in the admin inteface I get an error as well, stating:

<excerpt>
The requested page could not be displayed. (3)

The requested object is not available.

Possible reasons:

* The ID number of the object is incorrect. Please check the URL for spelling mistakes.
* The object is no longer available.
</excerpt>

Looks like the system cannot find the anonymous user anymore hence is not able to assign any role or policies to the request and finally failed to fulfill the request. Did anyone face this issue before ?

Thank you for your help

this is bad

your anonymous user has been deleted I guess... for some reason

please try this

edit the site.ini replace the anon. user id which should be 10 with 14 (admin user)

-login the the site and create a new anon. user
-place the admin id 14 in the site.ini with that from the new user

Thank you for your help Björn,

Using your procedure I was able to recreate a new anonymous user (I had to delete the broken one actualy). Everything seems to work properly now. However the admin inerface forced me to enter a user name, a password and an email for the newly created anonymous user.

I still don't know why this anonymous user have been broken...
