This warning inform you that in translation.ts file for eng-US is missing translation for some contexts. To fix this you can add missing translations.

In the latest 3.8.3 file share/translations/eng-US/translation.ts contains 1635/5725 where first count is what is translated. It is not necessary to translate all labels since eng-US and eng-GB are in many cases the same. Default locale for eZ publish is eng-GB. This warning can be ignored it is not critical and it has nothing with eZ publish stability.

Hi,

That's good to know it isn't a problem, however, what to do to have it "fixed" anyway ? I mean, warning and notice might not be always a big problem, or a problem at all like in this case, however, I like to have close to zero of these non-relevant messages, at least to be able to spot easily when there is a problem and not having to browse throught an endless list of "warnings I can safely ignore" to find the "warning(s) that leads to the problem"

You are right Xavier. Currently there is no INI setting to tell translation manager to ignore/disable those warnings (do not print them in the debug output). Feel free to submit new enhancement about this.

What will happend when translation is missing? The default one (English) will be display.

Tones of this warnings can only make reading the debug ouput difficult.

To fix this you can either translate all labels in the translation file or use eng-GB as default language instead of eng-US. Obviously this is not possible in all cases.

So, you suggest that we add a setting:
[RegionalSettings]
TranslationWarningOutput=disasbled

I am a little unsure about the name but this is somehow consistent with other settings like SQLOutput, ScriptDebugOutput etc

The warnings mentioned above is trigged by eZTranslateText() in kernel/common/i18n.php
Are the other messages you would like to be suppressed by such a setting?

The name of the option looks coherent with the rest. What doesn't look right for you on it ?
