Editing problems with IE, but NOT Mozilla

James Packham	Tuesday 10 February 2004 3:12:39 am Hi when I try to submit a newly edited object (any class), I get an intermittant problem where one of two errors occur: Sometimes the object reloads as if I'd never edited it Sometimes I get a "Page Cannot be found" error. I'm using EZ Publish 3.3-3, Apache 1.3 and php 4.3.4 on RH 9. The curious thing is this happens only in IE and not in Mozilla. I'm not really sure why this is happening, it just suddenly started late last week. Since then I've upgraded EZ Publish, copied my files design and settings across to a new installation of EZ Publish and in desperation rolled back the database to a version from before all this started. None of this seemed to help, apart from copying the system files which I thought had done the trick for about 5 minutes! Another thing I tried was to install a fresh copy of ez publish with the news package. This seemed to work without a problem, which would suggest (I guess) that there's nothing wrong with my install. Has anyone got any ideas? Thanks, James

The whole of my admin interface is encrypted with mod_ssl and if I look at it over an unencrypted connection it appears to work. I guess I'll have to go an read up on the section about SSL and EZ Publish in the documentation (I've never actually read it, because I figured it out for myself). ~James~
