Hello,

I have recently install an ezpublish 4.0 version.
When I have done this process, I choose to:
- create a new website according with the second model in purpose list (sorry, I don't remember it's name). In configuration, I have choose a website call dummy which is better keyword for search engine.
- map french to english
I host my ezpublish on a shared hosting.
When I ask http://www.my_hostname.com, I'm redirect to a page that looks like the expected one.
But I have two problems:
- the first one is that in each link, I have something like this:
http://www.my_hostname.com/home/myhost/www/index.php?/fre/Something

but /home/myhost/www is the path where is host my files on the server. How can I remove theses datas to have something like that:
http://www.my_hostname.com/index.php?/fre/Something

- My second problem is that I don't wants to have the fre site selected. My website will be only in french, and I would like something like that:
http://www.my_hostname.com/index.php/dummy/Something

I have look for theses datas in ini.append.php files. But I'm not sure which one I need to update? if I remove /home/myhost/www/settings/siteaccess/fre folder, did it do what I'm expecting for?
Please accept my apologizes for my poor english
best regards

Matthieu

PS: hope like my others messages that is the good forum, I can't found some descriptions about the ezpublish 4th version.

Hi,

First point : you may have a bad Apache configuration . Check the DocumentRoot of your VirtualHost, it must have the real path to your eZPublish root.

Second point :
http://ez.no/doc/ez_publish/technical_manual/4_0/reference/configuration_files/site_ini/siteaccesssettings/pathprefix

Hope it helps.
