connecting eZ components and eZ publish 4.0 for dummies

Hi all,

I'm a newcomer to eZ (and to programing as well) and I did not manage to configure eZ components to use extensions for eZ publish 4.0 ; even if I read carefully the installation guide at http://ezcomponents.org/docs/install .

Basically, I am not expert enough to use the PEAR installer ; and I didn't manage to configure the include_path and the autoload for the eZ components archive folder that is on my PC (I use EasyPHP as a developing environment).

Even if I might be dumb, it seems that the installation guide is very generic (probably to enhance eZ components as an autonomous PHP library) : I couldn't find in which ez4 files I was supposed to insert the code samples....

=> can someone <b>please make a tutorial</b> explaining step by step how to interface eZ components with eZ publish 4.0 ??? (like "paste this code at line #xxx of yyy.php")
