I use xampp 1.4.16 (with PHP4) as a server, Suse 9.2. I succesfully finished an installation of ez 3.7.0 but I can't enter to the shop! Kernel 1 Access denied. I started my site with debug mode and it return:
Error: eZMySQLDB
Connection error: Couldn't connect to database. Please try again later or inform the system administrator.
Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES)
I belive that 'root'@'localhost' is not my login to mysql because I esabilished other login.
whats goin on?

Next, I even cant get to administrative panel - kernel 50
No database connection could be made, the system might not behave properly.

in debug:
Error: eZMySQLDB
Connection error: Couldn't connect to database. Please try again later or inform the system administrator.
Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES)

I read about kernel 50 error lot of literature on this forum and I've tried everything to fix it up, but without results.

please, someone help me. I would like to run my site with ez.

Look in to settings/siteaccess/(your_site_name)/site.ini.append.php file in your eZ publish directory and check database settings. In your case eZ publish tried to connect to DB as user root.

Why it is trying to login as 'root'@'localhost' not as root (as it's written in the file)?
