Can't get past step 'site package' in installer

Hi all,

I'm trying to do a new install of ezPublish 3.8.3. After I've selected package 'plain' I get a screen stating "Package 'plain_site' and it's dependencies have been downloaded successfully. Press 'Next' to continue."

When I press 'next' the same page is loaded again. Do you have any idea what's going wrong here?

Thanks a lot!

Maarten

Hi Maarten

All Ezpublish packages in a single file.

The auto download of packages - which seems a bit problematic - can be bypassed by going to this page

http://ez.no/bugs/view/8797

Download the file and uncompress it into var/storage/packages/ez_systems (like it says on that page.

Paul, Kristof,

Thank you very much for your replies. It's working fine now (and again the developers have amazed me. I love 3.8.3!!)

One other question: I'm trying to set up a multi-site install. There are lots of forum topics available on that subject, but most end in discussions without really stating what's the best way to set it up. Is there perhaps some in-depth documentation about this subject?

Thanks all!

Hello Maarten

Please post another forum topic for this, I'll try to answer as soon as possible and make it sticky then.

Kristof,

I already created another topic here: http://ez.no/content/view/full/107624.

That lead to another topic about IndexPath and some other problems I experience:
