Hi there,
When I initially installed ezpublish it was before I had got the domain name sorted out so in the initial set up I set the url to be a subdomain on another of my domains, this took the form of http://example1.co.uk/example2/ so the home page ended up being http://example1.co.uk/example2/site/index.php/
I then bought the domain example2 so using the site settings interface changed it to be http://www.example2.co.uk. Thus making the homepage http://www.example2.co.uk/site/index.php/.
From the end user point of view this is all fine and seems to work but in the admin interface it seems to always want to point to a mixture of the two, so when I try to go to clear cache it goes to http://www.example2.co.uk/example2/site/index.php/example2_site_admin/setup/cache.
I just cant seem to find where to fix this, obviously having a broken admin interface is causing me some grief. Can anyone give any pointers?
Many thanks
André R.

Check your site ini settings and clear cache (all).

the site.ini settings all appear to be fine and unfortunatly clear cache is one of the affected urls. Can I clear the cache manually?

Yes, delete content in the var/cache and var/<site_name>/cache folders.

Thanks André, just deleted the caches manually and everything seems to working fine again. Appreciate the help.
