beta2 and rc1 - Admin Content structure issue

in the administration interface the "content structure" menu doesn't show the subnodes, only the main directory I'm on... eg. if I'm in the home I only see the frontpage displayed there.
Also in the subitems menu if I'm in the top node of the area and I press the arrow button to go to the root it doesn't take me anywhere the page just reloads...

Are you running php in fastcgi mode ?
If so make sure you run ezp in virtual host mode.
