I have recently installed 3.9.1 and setup a simple site. When I create articles via the admin interface they are not viewable by the anonymous user on the website. I set the anonymous role permision to *.* and it had no effect. However if I create an article as the anonymous user it is visible. This is obviously a permission issue but with the anonymous role have access to all modules, all functions I don't understand what more it could possibly need. Also this behaviour is specific to articles, other types of content are working fine. Any suggestions?

OK. I guess this is what happens when the default object availablility is set to false. Setting it to true fixed the problem. I guess I need to read up on this new setting.
