Here http://ez.no/doc/ez_publish/technical_manual/3_6/installation/normal_installation/requirements_for_doing_a_normal_installation you can read:

Web server

Currently, only the Apache web server is supported; the latest version of the 1.3 branch should be used. Version 2.0 works, but it should not be used due to incompatibilities with PHP.

This is up to date considering php 4.4.0, ezP 3.7.3 and future update of php 4 ?

Can users using apache 2.0 share some info about their experience ?

Thanks

Hey,

on our server we use Apache 2.0.54 and Php 4.4.2 with no problems.
We have great performance to (script time of about 0.07-0.09 on cached pages).

Just remember to use the prefork version of apache.
This will change when eZ 4 is out (late summer), then i guess apache 2.x(worker) and php 6 will be recomenede.

I'm having serious problems on win32 with Apache 2.0.55 and PHP 4.4.2, see bug report http://ez.no/community/bugs/document_contains_no_data_in_admin_content_browse_admin_no_longer_accessible
I guess all you guys are on Linux?
Can someone explain what is prefork version of Apache and where to get it?
