3.5.0rc2: Anonymous permanently gets 'Access denied'

Lukas Kolbe	Tuesday 14 December 2004 9:25:02 am Hello! I just started a new site using ezp 3.5.0rc2 (with help from the tutorial). However, the anonymous user doesnt has access to view the homepage nor any other sites (you can verify that at http://beaker.uni-muenster.de/~lukas/psjl/index.php. I already tried giving the anonymous role read-access to every content-object, but still it requires me to login to view my content. In every site.ini I came over I set RequireUserLogin to false, wich is also shown in the ini-editor from within ezp. Also I double-checked if the anonymous user id is 10, and some other things - I think it's a very small problem, but I unfortunatly just don't find it. Hints anyone? Thanks in advance, Lukas
Egil Fujikawa Nes	Tuesday 14 December 2004 8:20:06 pm Hi Lukas One possible reason for this problem can be that your eZ publish installation use HostMap but you access the your site in a URI mode, if you do so you can get this access problem. Another reason can be that you have been changing the name of you site in site.ini <i>AvailableSiteAccessList</i>. I got some same problem when I changed the name of my site in 3.5.0 RC2, when I was changing the name back everything was working normally. Personally I thought it was something I had done wrong and I was not reporting it as a bug, but maybe it is a bug in 3.5.0 RC2. Hope this could help a bit. Lukas Kolbe	Wednesday 15 December 2004 5:25:07 am Thank you for the suggestions. Unfortunatly, this doesn't solve my problem. The Site is named 'psjl', and was created with plain as a template (like in the howto), but renaming it to plain doesn't help. Also, as far as I remember, I set the access mode to uri, not to hostmap - but I also don't know where to check that. The admin-interface (named psjl_admin) is working fine (congrats for the new interface!) -- Lukas

Here my comment to the bug: Initially, the user:login-policy for role "anonymous" was set to "SiteAccess ( )". My site is called psjl, changing that policy to "SiteAccess ( psjl )" makes anonymous-users able to actually view the site.
