Very large Media Database with Exponential, is it possible?

There are of course several tools to build such a media database, but since we like Exponential, we wonder, if we could do it with Exponential. Now my question: has anybody done a comparable project? We would also be glad to have some information about the perfomenace of such a large media database, which will be used by aproximatly 25 users with different rights. Thank you for any information.
