is it possible to post a news article on phpnuke but not have it show up on the page until a certain date?
example: today is october 1st, and i post an article that will not appear until october 3rd.
thank you for your time and patience.

Well, maybe it is possible, but i don't know how it works. But i can tell you surely that it is possible in ezpublish. If you have questions concerning phpnuke, you should paste them in a forum for phpnuke questions. This forum is for ezpublish, so will you only get answers concerning ezp. That's the reason why you are at www.ez.no :-)
Sorry i can't help you with this.Greetz, Thomas

ahhh! the curse of cut and paste!of course i meant to mean ezpublish, not phpnuke =\
i was comparing the two to decide which one would better suit my needs.
i tried to make a time-delayed post in the demo, but i was not successful. how may i make a time-delayed post?
thank you again, and sorry for the confusion

Currently for eZ publish 3.2 it requires alterations from the standard deployment. In eZ publish 2.2x it was default and my guess will probably be default in future versions of 3.x also.
