Hallo,

after having a read on this (http://ez.no/ez_publish/documentation/development/libraries/ez_template/basics/namespaces_), which should explain what namespaces are and how they can be used, i got confused. I cant encode the first "table", what for sure isnt a table. Further this unreal table is rather driving me crazy than enlightening me, cause its seems not to be real code from a template.
Besides it would be nice, when someone of the eZ team can revise this (someone had the same problem like me and posted a comment under this articel but with no reaction)

thanks.
mike

Please explain
THE "TABLE":

Code
Root
Current

{$variable}
First
First

{section name=Space}
First
First:Space

  {$variable}
First
First:Space

  {$First:Space:item}
First
First:Space

  {section name=Room}
First
First:Space:Room

    {$First:Space:Room:item}
First
First:Space:Room

  {/section}
First
First:Space

{/section}
First
First

I completely rewrote the documentation page. Can you take another look and see if you get it now?

Hello Frederik,
very kind of you for clearing up this article about namespaces. This topic is much better understandable by the given example which is the application of the "table" above.
But another tip: In the second table give some (one or two) examples of how the attribute name is used by the listed functions, by adding a second column ({section name=Num loop=5}..), if not i would convert this table to a list. Just to clear things up in the direction you read a text.
Thanks anyway!

with kind regards,
mike aka cupic
