When you specify sort_by, $node.sort_array does it get the setting from the folder you're fetching from, or the one the template is in?
Example.. I have an override template for node id 2 and want to fetch items from node id 82, but the sorting is wrong...

$node.sort_array
is the sort method of your current node. If you are on /content/view/full/2 it will get the sort_array from the root folder. So in order to change your sort_array you must edit your root folder.
