Hello, I developed an Eclipse plug-in for supporting eZ Publish. I implemented the following features :
* Syntax highlighting for INI and TPL files.
* Validation of TPL files.
* Var Browser for exploring the $node variable.
* Wizard for creating a new template file
* Wizard for creating a new configuration file The validation and the Var Browser need an extension on the eZ Publish side. Hi Alain, It sounds great - I look forward to trying it out. :-) Can I suggest you post details of your plugin on projects.ez.no (or in the developer/contributions section, but I think people use projects more these days). Forum content tends to turn over pretty quickly, so people might miss your post. Regards - Paul

Hi Paul, Can I suggest you post details of your plugin on projects.ez.no (or in the developer/contributions section, but I think people use projects more these days). Forum content tends to turn over pretty quickly, so people might miss your post.
The problem is that eZ Projects has no bug tracker ,no features request and no wiki... This is the reason why I hosted my project on SourceForge. But maybe are these features not really necessary and the forum is enough... I will think about this solution ! Tanks.

You could still create a project on projects.ez.no, with links to the external svn repo, tracker and wiki. At least it would be easy to find it for users looking for it in that specific site... ...and maybe someday projects will get a tracker and wiki, too.

No need to change things around - I was suggesting that you post details of your work on the projects site (not necessarily the project itself) so that people would find it more easily when browsing eZ Publish projects / contributions.

Very nice work, thanks! About hosting on projects.ez.no: we will add a basic issue tracker soon, but not sure about a wiki-like part As Paul Wilson suggested, a minimal entry on projects.ez.no would make it a lot easier to find it back in the meantime

Hello, This sounds very similar to the smile ez-plug developped a few years ago, but which hasn't evolved much since. http://smile-ez-plugin.sourceforge.net/ Maybe you should try contacting the authors of this extension so that you can work together. It may be a good idea if you could work together to make both projects evolve in the same direction rather than on parallele routes. Since although your extension contains a few new features such as the $node variable exploration and the wizards, the smile ez-plugin contains the operator wizard
