Hi, with very limited technical knowledge I've been trying to compare ezPublish to other CMSs on my short list, including WebGUI and Plone. Besides my next question, any comments on or comparisons with WebGUI would be helpful. (For the time being, I've eliminated Plone as an option.) Is there good data available on the sites running ezPublish that have very high traffic? With enough servers can ezPublish handle 3 million visitors per month, or 30 million, or 300 million, or 1 billion? I'm ignorant of how sites like yahoo which use php handle so much traffic. Corporate web sites of 7-1000 pages.
Sites that need user registration.
Community sites of up to 20,000 registered users (more needs a dedicated server).
Sophosticated personal sites and blogs that want to create and maintain online communities.
Sites that need to measure user opinions and feedback.
Sites that need multiple content contributers with different levels of authority on the site changes.
Corporate product catalogs of up to 500 products.
Sites that need constant updating of content.
Intranets with content accessible to only the users you set.
Sites that need to mix areas not accessible to visitors and areas that are accessible to users.
Sites that need to allow users to download content and files.
Sites that sell content access and content subscriptions. WebGUI is not suitable for:
Sites that need to publish more than 1000 pages.
Sites that get more than 750,000 page impressions or 7,500,000 server hits.
Community sites with more than 50,000 users.
If you need an integrated shopping cart with your online catalog.
Sites with complex custom database requirements.
