Linking Individual Articles in Menu?

First of all, I'm new to EzPublish (just installed it yesterday and am testing it out right now), so I'm still getting used to the way it works as opposed to other CMS systems I've worked with.

With that said, I was wondering how to create basic static pages (such as an "About Us" page) and link it in the menu. I've tried creating an Article with the information, but can't figure out how to link it in the menu (I'm using the double top menu).

Anyone have an idea how to do this?

Thanks in advance.

Articles don't show up in menus by default. You can change this setting in menu.ini.

In which case of course all your articles will show up in the menu.

You can also use node override, create folder "About" and in Design->Templates->/node/view/full.tpl create template about.tpl than in "Override keys" type node id of "About" folder in to "Node ID:" field.

"About" folder will appear in menu, and will use about.tpl template file.

I suggest to take TCSM tutorial it`s very usefull at the beginning.

You can make new class (for example copy of article class) for showing them in menu.
Next add this class in menu.ini.

Thanks very much, everyone. I'm going through the tutorials and documentation right now and I think creating a new content class for static articles will be the best way to go for what I'm trying to do.

Again, thanks!
