I'm very interested in the ezxnewsletter extension but it seems to be very complex to setup and use it.
So before I start this hard job I would be curious having your feedback on the time that must be spent to make this extension run.
Any volunteer to share its experience?Nathalie

Hi Nathalie
If there is a viable alternative for you, better wait a bit. There is no documentation so you never know whether the functionality you want is already there or not.E. g. I wanted my users to check or uncheck a checkbox during registration or later on their account page and subscribe or unsubscribe them depending on the state of this checkbox. As I did not find any helpful documentation or user comments I had to check the source code. The source code is not very well formatted (mainly just to much spacing everywhere) but at least the subscription classes were fairly easy to understand. Still this took way to much time.
The usability is not very good - I think it offers to much functionality which, due to the lack of documentation, ends up being confusing.
According to a comment on the project page they are working on the documentation, this should make things much easier but might take a while.
I cannot tell you the amount of time I spent with the newsletter, I just can tell you that I was quite often quite frustrated...
Good luck
