Where did the eZ Crew pages on ez.no go to? Are they coming back?

They weren't exactly maintained, so they are for the time being taken down. Not sure they'll return.
Did you need a picture of someone? :)

No seriously, sometimes it's useful to be able to put a face on people you're communicating with on for example the issue tracker.

Yes they will be coming back. As Andre said, it just occured at some point that they were not representative enough, and did not help the typical case you are mentioning: "put a face on someone one is exchanging with".
But your post got me thinking that, in a more general way, it would be kind of nice to have representative profile pictures for community members, just like you have. Wondering if this idea would gallop though..
