Why can’t I use the datatypes enum or selection in an information collector Form? Is it possible to send an information out of a Multipleselect to the information collector mail?
I can't believe hat there is no way.
thank'sAndreas

eZ 3.2+ should allow these datatypes to be information collectors. ez 3.1 didn't though. If you are using the latest are you not seeing the information collector checkbox?

I'm using eZ 3.2-3 and there is no information collector checkbox.
So, I'm still developing our new eZ 3.X side I may also update on a 3.3 Beta if it helps. But I don’t Think so....... even in eZ 3.3.0-2 is no isInformationCollector() function in the enum or select php-code. If I'm right this is part of the information collector Function.
Do you have checkboxes to set up select or enum as information collector?Would be interesting what version you have?

Big oooops, sorry i was thinking about a different datatype :(
But, you can get the information out of your datatypes and use them as information collectors. See:

Hi paul,I think this "workarounds" are going the wrong way... I don't want to edit the Template if a Topic in my select box changes. I want to do this in my Admin interface.
Do you know how information collector exactly works? If I set isInformationCollector() = true, witch class parses the e-mail output of the information collector Form???
I think I will try

The file kernel/content/action.php usually takes the POST result and then redirects eZ tokernel/content/collectinformation.php
