Well, I just downloaded Alpha 3, but haven't installed it quite yet. But I thought I would start a thread to get feedback about the release from other testers now that there is a feature freeze. :) What do you like about the new release? Are there any areas that you can see that might cause some confusion in new users? What about upgrading users? For example, the change in the image system caused a few minor problems. What parts of this update make it a worthwhile upgrade?

I will post my thoughts once I've had a chance to have any. ;)

The install has gone pretty smoothly. Here are some general thoughts for future revisions:

Site Design Screen Shots: It would be nice to see a larger view of the individual templates. Perhaps a pop up image when they are clicked upon.

Site Functionality: I really like the inclusion of these options in the set up process! It would be really nice if the name of the functionality ('Feedback Form', 'Image Gallery' etc.) utilized the label tags. This would allow a user to click on the name 'Feedback Form' instead of just the checkbox. A larger clickable area makes life a bit easier. :)

Site Details: I ran into a warning when setting up my admin path. The system won't let me choose 'admin'. I would assume this is in the hopes of adding obfuscation to the list of security precautions, but I am not happy with the fact that I am restricted in naming it. I would prefer that I was merely warned instead of barred from using what I feel is right for my setup.

Initial User Site (Plain Template): Very nice! I like how it explains a bit about the system right away. :) One quick note concerning text colors. It would be nice if the system used link colors in addition to or instead of the underlines. Links really should stand out, especially to get the attention of someone learning a system. I don't understand why the paths listed under the Tempaltes heading are blue. My first instinct is to click on them, which doesn't work. I would recommend that those list items remain the standard text color for the site.

I will also list these as Suggestions under the Bug List, but I am posting here to start a discussion for any who are interested. :)
