Datatype: object relation with additional information

Hi,

I'm looking for a datatype that would be basically standard ObjectRelations but would allow me additionally to associate some extra information with this relation.

An example with used cars - I've database of owners and database of cars. I want to associate owners with cars, but additionally I would like to enter information about when did particular car belong to a particular owner.

Is there such extension already available or something similar that I could look at?

I had already look at projects.ez.no but I don't see anything like that, so I thought I'll ask here ...
