Cannot relate images from "Media"

Hi,
is this a bug or do i miss something:

I installed ez 3.3-4 with the Multiple File Upload extension. I create a folder in "Media" and use the Multiple File Uploader to upload some images.
The upload works and the images are published in that folder, getting the "media" section ID.
Now, i create an article somewhere in the content area and want to insert an image. I use the "browse" function to find the images in the Media folder (works), check some of them and press "select". I am taken back to the article, but the images do not show up in the related objects list of that article. Why?
Other objects or images, that were uploaded (manually) in the content area are added to the "related object list" nicely, but those images in media won't do it.
I'm using an admin user, btw.
Is this intended behaviour? Why are the images in media treated some other way than others?

Fixed in version 2.2.6 of "Multiple File Upload".
