I have performed a fresh install of 3.4.0 on a RH7.3, with MySQL 3.23.58 Installation is with hostname siteaccess. The DNS entries have been created. Installation completes without error. Both user and admin sites can be accessed and look valid. I however cannot seem to get the main page to update via the admin interface. I select the EZPublish entry and edit, then "Send for Publishing". I am returned to original page without the changes. I have cleared the cache many times with no success. Any ideas?

Which PHP version are you using ?

Are you overwriting the original main page text or building and assigning a new main page?
For the latter, have you tried...

There are some serious session bugs up to PHP 4.2.2 which might create the problems you're having. I recommend you upgrade to the latest stable PHP version.
