Assign section when creating content

Hello,

I've looked through the documentation and the forum and cannot find if it's possible to assign a section to a node when creating content. I understand nodes will, by default, inherit the section of their parent, but I'd like to be able to assign a section when creating the node itself.

Is this possible? Thanks!
