Hi Andre,
I should add, the reason I dislike the selection datatype is due to the long term effects of using it. for example if you need to reorder your list then all your metadata entries are screwed.
So to recap. 1. Deleting a selection - All ok :) 2. Adding a selection to the end of the list - All ok :) 3. Adding a selection to the middle of a list - All bad :(4. Reordering selections - All bad :(
so we either have a new type of selection class for metadata or we fix the current selection task to allow for re-ordering.
What do you think?

I agree, I have also always disliked it to.Thats why I used enhancedselection recently, and since the project are going to go live on ezp 4.0 next month I needed to port it to php5.
To be able to port it I had to sync it with ezselection, so replacing ezselection with enhancedselection in ez publish is within reach now..

ok, thanks.
I think ezselection should be deprecated or at the very least a warning for folks in the manual.

Hi, which is the best way to implement folksonomies in an ezPublish powered site?
I want on every pages to let users:
- mark it with one or more tags, separated by commas
- insert new tags or select existing tags, that could be suggested/completed dinamically by Ajax
- display the tags cloud
Any suggestions?

Hi Dario,
For folksonomies you would have to use "Keywords" as they are the only datatype capable of storing uncontrolled language.
