Is anybody from the community core team at work today to fix the issue? I'm getting spammed!

Hi Gaetano, Can you explain what is going on? I've already seen an e-mail about this from two of the team members but not quite sure yet what the cause is here. Can't reach Nicolas either. Regards Robin

I have not received any notifications on share.ez.no forum the last 4 days or so. I am signed up with a gmail account. Is there a reason why i have not received any notifications?

Hi guys, I have been looking at it since yesterday, emptied the unhandled notification events from the DB, killer a bunch of crons. So, are you receiving the same emails over and over again (ie : every 5 minutes), OR different emails every 5 minutes, but each of them in several copies ? Let me know,

This seems to be due to a memory exhaustion. The notifications.php script was probably overwhelmed by the vast amount of certifications generated by the old contribs migration. It would start, start sending emails, then crash at some point, causing a rollback, and a restart from the beginning 5 minutes later. Running the cronjob part with more memory now, you guys will probably receive another bunch of notifications, but this should be the last time :) Let me know if you still receive loads of notification emails every 5 minutes. Cheers,
