How to display the dropdown of list of available group

By default the registered members list come under Members Group.

But I would like to keep them in separate groups like Teachers Group Strudent Groups, Parent Groups.

By registration itself I want the user to select the available group and make thier registration in the particular group.

I have tried to add more attributes like User Group in User Class by modifying the class and add object relation attribute.. but and relate the object name as Members Group.

It list out the subgroups in side the admin.. But in user access the dropdown list is empty..

How to solve this problem.. How to keep the registered members list in corresponding groups.
